We are excited to announce that our client Chicago Trading Company has hired two individuals into their Quantitative Leadership team. Paulo Zanjacomo joins as Senior Financial Engineer and Adel Ahanin as Financial Engineer, both reporting to Greg Sobczak, Head of Financial Engineering at CTC.
Most recently, Paulo served as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Voltaire Capital. Previously, he worked as a Senior Research Associate for IMC Financial Markets, Senior Quantitative Analyst for Sun Trading and Director, Quantitative Analyst for Automated Trading Desk, a Citigroup Company. Paulo began his career with Altera Energy and Delfin Energy in a leading Research and Design position. Paulo earned a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, a MSc in Applied Mathematics from University of Sao Paulo and BSc in Computer Science from University of Sao Paulo. Paulo and his family live in Glenview, IL.
Most recently, Adel was a Quantitative Researcher at DRW Holding. Previously, Adel served as Intern Researcher for Forth Hill Capital Management, Research Assistant for MIT Ralph M. Parsons Laboratory and Civil Engineer for Yekom Consulting Engineers. Adel earned a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Master of Engineering degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran. Adel and his family reside in Chicago, IL.
