John Meyer
Senior Director, Technology Operations
John brings more than 20 years of results-driven IT strategy and management experience creating and leading technology-based consulting and business initiatives grounded in reducing risk and driving enterprise value. In his role with TalentRISE, he manages the company’s IT infrastructure and related business process support systems; the evaluation, implementation and integration of various technologies supporting the firm’s recruitment service offerings; and the development of internal and client reporting tools to effectively measure and manage business performance.
Previously, from 2013-16, he served as a business and technology consultant to the League of Chicago Theatres and Datatopia, LLC. Prior to that, he was the senior director of business systems for Acquity Group, where he successfully led an ERP implementation addressing the company’s core financial, accounting and business intelligence reporting modules, and the rollout of Microsoft’s cloud-based Office 365 environment to replace existing intranet, instant messaging and email platforms. Earlier, from 2004-2011, he launched and served as CEO of Elexos Corporation, an early mover in the commercial and residential control automation field, and prior to that, as chief information officer of Lante Corporation, a leading-edge technology consulting firm and dot.com era high flier.
John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Studies and English Literature from Northwestern University.
