The Challenge:  

A regional airline, wholly-owned by a unionized national carrier, needed to revamp its antiquated hiring processes or face dramatically escalating salary costs driven by talent shortages within a collective bargaining environment. Their current hiring process was arduous, paper-based, focused on job fairs, and consisted of multiple interviews done by current pilots.

Results:

TalentRISE was hired directly by the CEO to create a recruitment process which essentially entailed a diagnosis after which we re-engineered recruitment from end-to-end. We made recommendations regarding staff, the organizational structure, key competencies as well as technology to set them up for success and allow them to source a steady pipeline of pilots as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.
