The Challenge:  

To expand its market footprint, this 100+ year old manufacturer of construction materials aimed to fill nearly 40 key field sales rep positions in seven Northeast and Midwestern markets. Within a tight five month timeframe, the company sought to hire candidates with 2 to 5 years of successful outside sales experience in construction or transferable industries and a college degree.  

TalentRISE was engaged to provide end-to-end recruiting support including candidate sourcing, phone interviews, interview and assessment scheduling, feedback collection and all aspects of communication with candidates. Our team, led by a seasoned delivery manager, served as a single point of contact for hiring managers and offered labor market intelligence, detailed metrics reporting and delivered strategic sourcing and advertising.   

Results:  

TalentRISE met or exceeded performance expectations on all measures. After building a pool of nearly 10K contacts across all 7 locations, we completed 200 screens resulting in 43 individuals who underwent assessment and 88 interviews with hiring managers. Of those interviewed, fully one third resulted in offers.  The total cost-per-hire ROI equivalent was 13.8% of salaries recruited, while saving internal resources significant time.
